Kellan Lutz Megapost

It’s always, “Taylor Lautner this, Robert Pattinson that.” Okay, Robert Pattinson is a gross heroine-sheik freakazoid (dude, read his interviews, dude is whack). And Taylor Lautner just barely became legal, and if you look past his rockin’ body, he’s sort of got a pug nose. (If you’re reading this Taylor: I’d still totally bend over for you, TEAM JACOB ALL THE WAY!)

So let’s get down to business. Kellan Lutz is in the Twilight movies for like two seconds. But, he deserves way more attention, because he’s hot and motherfucker is stacked. Dude, you start to think he’s on roids, but then he speaks and he’s all cuddly and sweet. No roid rage. So, who knows. But if they’re thinking of recasting for Hulk 3 and want to save on the special effects budget, they should consider casting Kellan. Slap some green paint on those muscles (I volunteer to be that makeup artist) and have him practice saying “Hulk Smash” and you’ve got your movie made!

Oh, and you know that if there’s any gay hanky panky on the set of Twilight, Kellan is totally doing Taylor doggy style, making Taylor howl like a wild werewolf in heat.

Also, if you’ve seen the picture that supposedly shows Kellan’s pubes, it’s not legit. I’ve included the Kellan pube pic, the actual pic of the model whose body and pubes got photoshopped, and a side-by-side comparison at the end of the gallery. Sorry to burst your gay fantasy bubbles.

Giant Redwood in Hi-def

As a teenager I had a fascination with Giant Sequoia trees, sometimes called Redwoods. (Actually, there are two types of trees Sequoias and Coastal Redwoods, which are cousins.) I grew up near the inland varieties near Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. I read tons of books on the giant trees, and went on numerous hikes through the parks to admire the behemoths.

I guess my obsession with gigantic phallic objects started long before I realized I was gay…

Nick Nichols, the “Indiana Jones of Photography,” produced the first-ever high-definition, seamless composite photo of an entire redwood. It’s 300 feet tall and between 1,500 and 2,000 years old. The photo was created with 84 very high-resolution images, taken at approximately 3-foot intervals from a vertical dolly rigged parallel to the tree.

HUNG Gets Creative with Advertising

I’ve only watched a couple of episodes of Hung on HBO, and thought it was just okay. But, a somewhat so-so show has definitely gotten creative in their advertising. These billboards are awesome. I love the astonished looks on the faces of the passersby. LOL.

Geek Love: Book Review

I joined a gay book club recently. (No, the books aren’t gay books, the guys are gay and we read all different kinds of books.) I had my first meeting earlier this week and we discussed last month’s book Geek Love. I’ll pat myself on the back and say I was the only one in the group who finished the book. I’ll pat myself further and say I was responsible for convincing several guys to finish the book, despite their misgivings about its darkness and depravity.

(Spoilers ahead)

Geek Love by Katherine Dunn is one of the most bizarre and disturbing books I’ve ever read. Because of its uniqueness, I really enjoyed it. The story centers around a family of mutant circus children. Two parents decide they want to start their own circus and they imbibe various radioisotopes and poisons during childbirth to produce freak children. They sire Arturo (Arty) the flipper boy, Electra (Elly) and Iphigenia (Iphy) the siamese twins, Olympia (Oly) the hunchback albino dwarf (and narrator), and finally Fortunato (Chick) the telekinetic.

Okay, so this comic was surely intended for the breeder types who get weirded out by a dude sidling up next them at the urinal. Thus the “Seriously?” comment at the bottom of the comic. But, it made way more sense to me as Gay Bar Etiquette post, because this is pretty much how it works in the gay world.
