Obama and McCain Define “Rich” Differently
McCain says that the “rich” (i.e., people who should be in the upper tax bracket) are people who make $5M or more per year. Obama claims the number is closer to $250,000 per year. This isn’t surprising given their very different backgrounds. It also suggests to me that McCain is richer than rich and has no concept of how poor off most of America is.
