Busted via Facebook

Kevin Colvin FacebookIt’s the age old story. Guy works at bank as intern. Guy decides to party on Halloween. Guy tells boss that he has a “family emergency” to get out of work. Photo of guy dressed as a pretty fairy surfaces on Facebook. Boss sees photo on Facebook and includes said photo in email response, bcc’ing the whole company.

Who cares, right? First, he’s an intern, not a full-time employee. Second, everyone’s entitled to a day off now and then. Third, he makes a very pretty fairy princess. Fourth, his makeup is fabulous. Fifth, he’s cute as hell. Sixth, did I mention he’s hot? And hot guys should be allowed to do anything they want. Well, anything they want to do to me that is.

The only two problems I see here are 1: That he lied. He could’ve just said he needed to take a couple days off. End of story. It’s being caught in the act of lying that generated the buzz here. (Okay, I’m sure the pic of him in a fairy dress contributed a little bit too.) And 2: The boss definitely crossed a line by bcc’ing the whole company. That’s just poor form. I wonder what incriminating photos cute little Kevin could turn up of Mr. Bossman if he tried?
