The Tyranny of Structurelessness
Feminist scholar Jo Freeman wrote an essay called The Tyranny of Structurelessness back in the 70s. The article is fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone involved in a small company, non-profit, or activist group. There’s a lot of good wisdom contained in this essay. I found it very interesting how timeless Freeman’s observations are.
